Interesting question.

Hasn’t happened to me yet, even with all this time spent on Y/A doing research. I get waves where I’m more or less inspired and motivated, but no slumps yet.

Yes, I felt this way. I’m from a small town, my husband was from Dallas. Our traditions were a little different. I was set when he asked me to marry him that we hit the first courthouse we could find and do it there. But, my husband didn’t want our parents and family to miss out on the occasion. So, we set a date that we would be married in 8 months. I found a dress and bridesmaid dresses a couple weeks later after that I progressed more slowly. Finally my poor husband set down with me and we figured out how we wanted everything and we started working together on it. A wedding can be very stressful in the planning. Over all we had beautiful day.

It may be you just have most things planned. But realize a month before the wedding, you need to go back over everything and double check all the arrangements…you’d be surprised who forgets what you set up. It also may have turned into more than you bargained for. Just delegate what you don’t want to do…if you don’t care…then someone else will do it..but it may not turn out how you want it to be.

Maybe some other person is ruining it for you? Not sure.

YES! Omg, I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

My wedding is coming up in 72 days, and I am sooo ready for it to be over and done with. I am ready to be married and lying on a beach.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my FH and am looking forward to my wedding day. However, when you first start planning you have all of these ideas, and want everything perfect. As you really start planning you realize that everything isn’t going to be the exact way you want it, not everyone is going to agree and someone will be upset about something, ect.

Keeping track of the guest list, food, money, flowers ect, becomes exhausting. The novelty of being a new fiancee/wedding planner, definitely wears off, once you realize how much work actually goes into it.

Go for a walk in the woods..choose sticks/grape vines..that sort of thing. Spray paint or dip in white paint...wrap small short or tall bundles (depending on your vase) with white and black ribbon and place in a glass container. You can use the ribbon on the container instead of wrapping the vines with them. Play around with the look till you are happy with it. You should be able to get the ribbon at the dollar store too to save some money or watch local fabric stores for deals on notions. Get the containers at a local dollar store. Cheap but looks simple and elegant for a wedding table. You can get one red rose for the middle of each, but is not necessary. You can use the battery operated tea lights, but they can get pricey..try buying in bulk from local venues or online. We had to use these for my daughter's wedding..but is a great idea.
